Today was a first…I almost walked out on an appointment I’d travelled to.
After sitting with a prospective client and getting the run around, lots of evasion and smug smiles I packed up my tool box (pen, paper & calculator) and after explaining I didn’t have time for their games I headed to the door…I was feeling frustrated and leaving them to sort out their own mess.
With my hand on the door the teary woman pleaded with me to stay. She was now willing to tell me everything I needed to know, there’d be no more games.
I wasn’t trying to be difficult or to probe unnecessarily, however from a professional perspective it’s impossible to help unless we fully understand your situation.
